July Calendar
The prognostics from weather experts are that July is going to be a hot one.  All you need to have to do is not forget to water your trees, enjoy the fruit that you will be harvesting and share it with you dear friends at the next meetings. 

[] This month may be your last chance to plant your subtropical trees.
[] You safely transplant palms.
[] You can pick you enjoy you berry during this month and when all you production is done, you can prune you bearing canes.  Remember to leave about five canes for next year’s production.
[] Continue to fertilize your citrus and avocados.
[] Continue to apply a balanced fertilizer to all you fruiting trees.
[] Continue to remove weeds.
[] Verify that your irrigation system is properly working.
[] You may need to start watering twice a week, check the moisture in your soil before irrigating.
[] Keep an eye on you fruit trees for draught stress.
[] Look at the color of leaves of each trees and check for iron or zinc deficiency and add the necessary amendments. 
[] Another very effective fertilization method is foliar fertilization, give it a try.
[] Add high nitrogen amendments to your bananas.
[] If you have not mulched you trees this is a good time, it will save help you keep your water bill under control.
[] Watch out for insects and snake that may harm you when you are harvesting you fruits and berries.
